About Charlottenburg

The traditional flagship district of West Berlin. Charlottenburg used to be Berlin’s city center, however, it has lost this status to today’s Mitte.

Rentals are higher than elsewhere with good reason since the area is surrounded with several parks including the huge garden of the “Schloss Charlottenburg” and the posh area around the lake Lietzensee.

Next to an intense shopping experience at the traditional shopping Boulevard Kurfürstendamm, one can also enjoy the cultural sights like the Gedächtniskirche, for example.

Places to eat

One can be very picky when it comes to choosing the right restaurant due to the overflowed variety of offers. It just depends on your taste. You have the embarras de choix. Would you like to go for a more extravagant cuisine or do you prefer a good middle-class dish?
