About Area - Neukölln

With nearly half of its population of immigrant origin, Neukölln is one of the more cosmopolitan districts of Berlin, although cheaper than Kreuzberg, for example. Turkish shops mingle with Russian delis among a crowd of great cafes, bars and art spaces populated by students and artists.

Tourists are scarce in Neukölln, as opposed to Charlottenburg or Kreuzberg, offering a more immersive experience of Berlin. Full of hipsters and classic architecture, it is great to sit back, enjoy your coffee and sit by the Landwehrkanal, observing the boats.

Neukölln has a great U-Bahn connection to Alexanderplatz, opening countless possibilities to combine the quiet local lifestyle with a vibrant sightseeing experience in the more central districts.
