About Area - Moabit

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Moabit transformed from West Berlin’s border district to a central quarter of a reunited city. It is typical of new buildings, like the Bundesministerium des Innern, the Criminal Court and other structures located here because of Moabit’s close proximity to the new Government District. At the same time, the district offers classic architecture, such as the neoclassical Hamburger Bahnhof, now housing one of the best contemporary art museums in Europe.

Moabit offers a rich selection of cafes and restaurants and has great connections to Schöneberg and Charlottenburg, as well as the Ring-Bahn that circles the city.

When it comes to apartment rentals in Berlin, Moabit is a bit cheaper than the other districts, becoming the ideal choice for those who want to enjoy the local experience without paying too much.
